The Virtual Record Treasury of Ireland has been shortlisted for the prestigious Ireland eGovernment Awards 2024 in the AI & Governance category. For over two decades, these awards have recognised excellence in digital transformation and innovation within the Public Sector.
This recognition highlights the groundbreaking work of the programme, with special congratulations extended to Dr. Peter Crooks, Director of the Virtual Record Treasury, and Professor Declan O’Sullivan, Co-Principal Investigator from the ADAPT Centre, TCD Computer Science and Statistics, alongside his team.
The research programme is supported by the Irish Government, with funding from the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media under Project Ireland 2040.
