Post-primary teachers across Cork and surrounding areas are invited to a free, interactive workshop designed to empower educators with the knowledge and skills to integrate Artificial Intelligence (AI) into their classrooms.
Organised by ADAPT, the Research Ireland Centre for AI-Driven Digital Content Technology, and Dublin City University (DCU), with support from Google, the AI Literacy in the Classroom initiative is equipping teachers with essential skills to navigate the rapidly evolving AI landscape in education.. This will be the third half-day in-person workshop delivered by the team and it is scheduled for March 1st from 9.30am to 2pm at the Cork Education Support Centre..

Led by ADAPT and DCU experts, participants will gain invaluable insights into AI’s potential to transform education. Educators will leave with actionable insights to support student learning while fostering responsible AI use and digital citizenship.
As part of the broader initiative, teachers also have access to a free 90-minute online course covering AI Literacy and AI Ethics, available at adaptcentre.ie/ai-literacy-in-the-classroom. Thisr flexible, self-paced resource ensures teachers can continue developing their AI knowledge at their convenience.
Future workshops are also planned for Sligo (March 22nd, 2025), ensuring accessibility for teachers nationwide.
