Last month, researchers from Łódź University of Technology visited the SFI ADAPT Centre at Dublin City University for a productive research visit focused on Citizen Science. This visit strengthened the ties initially forged at the European Consortium of Innovative Universities (ECIU) conference in Barcelona last year.
Professor Edyta B. Pietrzak, Dr Sylwia Flaszewska, and Julia Lasota, M.Sc from Łódź University of Technology were hosted by ADAPT’s Education and Public Engagement team in June 2024. During the visit, the group explored innovative approaches and potential collaborations in the field of Citizen Science.
The visit not only solidified existing relationships, but also laid the groundwork for future partnerships through knowledge and best practice sharing with the Innovation Value Institute based at Maynooth University and the NovelEco citizen science project based at Trinity College Dublin.
