Invitation to European Project Launch event at Maynooth University

Minister Martin Heydon, Minister of State at the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine with special responsibility for Research and Development, Farm Safety and New Market Development will officially launch the programmes ENTRUST and DIGI+ on March 8th at Maynooth University.

  • DIGI+, a world-class research fellowship programme on “Leadership for Sustainable Digital Transformation in Europe” with a budget of almost 4 Mil Euro and co-funded by Europe Horizon Marie Skłodowska-Curie Programme.
  • ENTRUST, a Doctoral Network focused on the Next Generation of Trustworthy Agri-Data Management, that will train a cohort of 11 Doctoral Researchers with a budget of almost 3 Mil Euro also co-funded by Europe Horizon Marie Skłodowska-Curie Programme.

Prof. Markus Helfert and Prof. Zohreh Pourzolfaghar from Maynooth University, Innovation Value Institute are leading both projects. Both projects are in collaboration with Lero, the Science Foundation Ireland Research Centre for Software and Adapt, the world-leading SFI Research Centre for AI-Driven Digital Content Technology.
