The ADAPT Centre for Digital Content Technology will host an Intelligent Systems themed showcase on Tuesday 25th October 2016 in Croke Park Conference Centre. Intelligent Systems are rapidly transforming the way companies operate, becoming a key differentiator for those on the road to success. The showcase will feature the latest innovations from ADAPT experts alongside demonstrations of their real world applications.
The ADAPT Centre is leading the way in developing technologies which revolutionise the fields of Machine Learning, Deep Learning and Artificial Intelligence. Identifying and resolving complex real world problems has been a key focus of the research work within the ADAPT Centre. The showcase will give attendees the opportunity to hear firsthand from the experts who developed these technologies as well as personally interact with a range of technology demonstrations.
Another feature of the event will see industry partners discuss the convergence of industry and research in a panel discussion. Adapting and refining technologies in new, innovative ways has provided ADAPT’s industry partners with a competitive edge particularly within the online market. This discussion panel will conclude with a question and answer session designed to allow industry leaders the opportunity to discuss the future of the machine learning field.
Attendees will also get an insight into the direction of Intelligent Systems into the future through five short presentations by PhD candidates in the ADAPT Centre. The Three-Minute Thesis (3MT) Competition will see PhD candidates present their dynamic research topics to compete for a People’s Choice Award.
