Since January 2016 the last Monday of every month has become a regular diary slot for Dublin’s techie community due to the success of a new Meetup group focused on Machine Learning. Established by the ADAPT Centre for Digital Content Technology, the Meetup has gained over 600 members in its first few months highlighting the appetite for ML knowledge among Dublin’s technology-focused community.
Entrepreneurs, established business leaders, ML experts, students and curious individuals, attend every month to discuss the challenges, opportunities, best practices and applications of Machine Learning in some of Dublin’s coolest companies. The meeting aims to provide insights for all levels of ML knowledge in the room and the format include technical, practical and operational insights from a range of speakers.
Already sponsored by Nitro and Boxever, the ML Meetup encourages any organisation interested in ML to connect with ADAPT to sponsor a future event, along with individuals interested in contributing or posing ideas for a future Meetup.
The next ML Meetup will focus on Applications of Deep Learning and will take place in Boxever on Tara Street at 6pm on Monday 25th April. Interested parties can sign up online.
