RTÉjr’s brand new podcast, “Cookie Bytes,” is on a mission to demystify AI for young listeners, and Dr Emma Clarke from ADAPT’s Education & Public Engagement (EPE) Team is a contributor to this exciting series.
“Cookie Bytes” follows the adventures of 11-year-old twins, Max and Sonny, their tech-exploring dad, and a mischievous kitten named Cookie as they dive headfirst into the world of AI. This isn’t your typical tech podcast – it’s a fun and engaging journey filled with vox pops, insightful AI conversations and expert contributions.
In episode two, Dr Clarke helps listeners uncover how AI is an integral part of our day to day lives and how it can be used in all sorts of ways – from translating languages to how AI is shaping the world around us. She also highlights the importance of including a wide range of voices in the discussions around AI.
