ADAPT’s AI Dilemma Café will be open for business from 5.00pm on 30 September for START: European Researchers Night in Trinity College Dublin. We will be exchanging coffee for chats about people’s interactions with AI and encouraging them to think about the technology they interact with on a day-to-day basis and how it shapes our lives and our interactions with others.
During the evening, you will have the opportunity to interact with researchers who are working on Artificial Intelligence who frequently ask questions like:
– just because we CAN do something, does it mean we SHOULD?
Also that evening:
There will be Pop-Up Talks about social robots, how technology deals with the Irish language and more.
Get creative with DALL-E vs Dali Participants will explore the use of AI tools like DALL-E – encouraging them to make their own ‘protest posters’ where they design a poster around their AI thoughts/ concerns / hopes for the future.
No prior knowledge of AI is necessary to come along and join the discussion.
