ADAPT Researchers at Trinity College Dublin, Tochukwu Ikwunne, Cathy Roche and Matt Murtagh-White each presented their research at the Development Studies Association of Ireland (DSAI) Annual Conference 2022 which took place recently in the University of Limerick.
The research featured within the ‘Technology for Global Development (ICT4D)’ track during the conference and was chaired by Dr P.J. Wall, formally of ADAPT. The research presented included work on user engagement in mobile health, in particular, an examination of the role of underrepresented groups and the Global South in the wider AI discourse. It also contained an evaluation of the potential of randomised controlled trials and knowledge graphs in international development.
The DSAI Annual Conference is a key event for researchers, policy makers and practitioners across the sector.
