ADAPT PhD Researcher Alfredo Ormazabal (Trinity College Dublin) recently presented his article, titled “Clinician’s perspective on trusting Patient Generated Health Data for use in clinical decision-making: A qualitative interview study”, at the IEEE 36th International Symposium on Computer Based Medical Systems (CBMS) in L’Aquila, Italy. The conference took place from the 22nd to the 24th of June of this year.
Patient Generated Health Data is data related to health created by or on behalf of the patient. This qualitative interview study identifies aspects of this data that influence the clinician’s decision whether to trust or distrust it.
Alfredo Ormazabal is a PhD student in the ADAPT Centre based in Trinity College Dublin. His research topic is Patient Generated Health Data (PGHD) and its integration into the Irish Electronic Health Record (EHR).
