The ADAPT Centre has been shortlisted for ‘Irish Laboratory of the Year’ in the 2019 Irish Laboratory Awards. ADAPT is one of ten shortlisted for this competitive category.
The Irish Laboratory Awards recognise the successes and achievements of Ireland’s internationally renowned scientists in areas including innovation, leadership and collaboration and focus on the ongoing work of Irish scientists to grow and develop sustainably, globally competitive science research.
Finalists for the Research Laboratory of the Year include ADAPT Centre, Bernal Institute Composites Manufacturing Laboratory at the University of Limerick, Bernal Process Engineering Cluster at the University of Limerick, Centre for Secure Information Technologies at Queen’s University Belfast, Cork Centre for Vitamin D & Nutrition Research at University College Cork, Diet & Microbes at Extremes of Life at Teagasc Food Research Centre, Large Structures Research Laboratory at National University of Ireland Galway, ProSpect Facility at University College Cork, Trinity College Dublin Department of Surgery Research Group, and Thoracic Oncology Research Laboratory at St James’s Hospital and Trinity College Dublin.
The winner will be revealed at the awards ceremony on the 7th March in Dublin.
