Mariana Rocha is an assistant lecturer in the School of Computer Science, Technological University Dublin (TU Dublin). She joined TU Dublin as a PhD student when she developed and evaluated digital games to support mathematics learning at primary school. Mariana is part of the Happy Maths, a research group that studies digital games’ potential to overcome Maths anxiety and improve learning engagement. She also collaborates with different projects that aim to provide technological solutions to challenges in education. Before joining TU Dublin, Mariana worked on the development of multimedia technologies for STEM learning.
