Jeffrey Sardina is a PhD researcher at the ADAPT Centre at Trinity College Dublin sponsored by SONAS Innovation through the D-REAL scholarship programme. He had a B.Sc. in Bioinformatics from the University of California, San Diego, and an M.Sc in Data Science from Trinity College Dublin. Jeffrey is currently studying for his PhD in Trinity College Dublin. His research focuses on the interaction between knowledge graph structure and the performance of knowledge graph embedding learning models on graphs. He is also keen on examining this interaction in terms of health- and cancer- related knowledge graphs, with an eye to how relational learning can help contribute to cancer bioinformatics.
