Japesh Methuku

Japesh Methuku is a MEng graduate from Dublin City University with focus in Deep Learning and Computer Vision. Japesh Methuku developed a deep learning system during the Masters thesis which learns from the actions of an in-car driver captured using a camera. Japesh will work as a research assistant based in DCU on the ChIA project to deliver computer vision, chatbot and quality data related solutions to the project. The project is supported by external funding from the OAW, Austrian Academy of Sciences – Go!digital funding. Japesh will undertake research under the supervision of Dr. Yalemisew Abgaz within the ADAPT Research Centre. Reporting to the Principle Investigator Japesh will assist in the development of the ChIA AI system and conduct an assessment of the resulting ChIA system.
