Filip is a post-doctoral researcher based in Technological University Dublin. In 2022 he completed his PhD in the area of computational linguistics and NLP supervised by Dr John D. Kelleher. While his research interests lie at the intersection of semantics, idiomatic usage detection and algorithm interpretability, he is currently working on an industry project partnered with Huawei Ireland to build a natural language to SQL translation system. An aspiring jogger and video game enthusiast, in his spare time, of which there is little, he also sings in Ireland’s premiere vocal band Ardú.
