Erfan completed his PhD in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from Eastern Mediterranean University in 2022. During his studies, he researched ML integration for IDS in MANETs and VANETs. From 2022 to 2024 he joined Prof. Julie Berndsen’s group as a postdoctoral research fellow at ADAPT Research Centre, University College Dublin, where he worked on explainable AI in ASR systems. Currently, he is a research fellow at the ADAPT, Trinity College Dublin with a research focus on TKGE models for biomedical data.
