Erfan completed his Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from Eastern Mediterranean University in 2022. During his Ph.D. studies, he held positions as a research assistant, as well as a lecturer. Currently, he works as a postdoctoral research fellow at ADAPT Research Centre, School of Computer Science at University College Dublin. He is a member of Prof. Julie Berndsen’s research group, where he is working on Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) modeling, interpretation and evaluation.
