Claire is Deputy Head of the Research Development Team and has worked in research management for almost 15 years. Claire helps to drive the Centre’s strategy for securing significant EU research funding and is responsible for providing support to ADAPT staff at all stages of the proposal lifecycle from scoping opportunities to concept development and proposal writing through to submission and contract support. Claire holds a BSc from Maynooth University (2003) and a PhD in cryptography from Dublin City University (2007). She has also worked as a postdoctoral research fellow in University College Cork and as a project manager in industry prior to joining TCD in 2009.
