Beyza is a Post-doctoral Researcher and Data/Knowledge Engineer in the ADAPT Centre at Trinity College Dublin. Prior to Trinity College Dublin, she was an ELITE-S COFUND Marie Skłodowska-Curie Action Research Fellow in ADAPT Centre at Dublin City University. Currently, she is working on the EU-funded FAIRVASC(fairvasc.eu) and PARADISE projects to build a federated interoperable rare disease registry employing Knowledge Graphs. Her research interests span in the areas of the semantic web, data quality, geospatial data, and data matching through knowledge engineering. As well as academic research she has been involving, she has also co-organized GeoLD Workshops in ESWC and the Multifarm Tracks in Ontology Matching Workshops in ISWC. Before joining the ADAPT Centre, she received her PhD in Computer Science from the University of Genoa (Italy) and she has worked on a number of industrial and academic collaborations including those for Ordnance Survey Ireland, Springer Nature (UK) and DBpedia, AKSW-InfAI (Germany) as a doctoral and post-doctoral researcher.
