Alex is a Postdoctoral Researcher in Artificial Intelligence and Semantic Web technologies, who currently conducts his research in the ADAPT Research Centre in Trinity College Dublin.
His current research focuses on creating frameworks used to improve the quality of mappings which are used to create knowledge graphs using Artificial Intelligence. The aim of his research is to improve the overall quality of knowledge graphs being produced.
He is also involved in the AVERT project which aims to bring together physician, patient, computer scientist and artificial intelligence expertise to create a system that learns over time about the impact of the environment on the ANCA vasculitis disease.
He is also a member of the SFI Centre for Research Training in Artificial Intelligence .
He previously completed a B.Sc in Computer Applications in Dublin City University receiving First Class Honours before joining the ADAPT Centre.
