Dr. Aidan Meade is a lecturer and PI in the School of Physics, TU Dublin. His research concentrates on the development of data treatment, machine learning and AI pipelines for clinical, biological, and imaging data, with a deep focus on novel hyperspectral imaging (HSI) data derived from human tissues. The motivation of his activity is to develop imaging solutions for precision oncology. He is currently funded by SFI and HRB and was previously funded under EU H2020, EU FP7 and the PRTLI 4 National Biophotonics and Imaging Platform (NBIPI). Prior to joining TU Dublin, he was a Physicist at the Department of Medical Physics and Bioengineering, St. James’s Hospital. He is Director of TU Dublin’s BSc in Physics with Data Science.
