On May 29th, the DCU Natural Language Processing (NLP) Lab hosted an Open Day to highlight the team’s achievements over the past year. This provided an opportunity to explore potential collaborations as well as celebrate the first year of the new DCU Masters degree in NLP.
The event was designed as a key component of a broader initiative to foster a dynamic and collaborative research environment for NLP research at DCU and beyond.
The Open Day featured an introduction by Lab Lead Prof Anya Belz, six short oral presentations showcasing current research projects within the Lab. Additionally, attendees had the opportunity to engage with a poster session and various system demos held in the DCU ADAPT space.
The event successfully showcased the NLP Lab’s ongoing work and underscored the exciting potential for future collaborations in the field of Natural Language Processing.
