Joachim Wagner is Research Fellow in the ADAPT Centre and in the School of Computing at Dublin City University (DCU). His research is in natural language processing with a focus on text classification, neural net interpretability, multilingual parsing and processing of user-generated content. Joachim has a strong background in applied machine learning and high-performance computing. He holds a Magister Artium in computational linguistics and artificial intelligence from Universität Osnabrück in Germany and a PhD in computing from DCU.
