On September 28th, a festival of research will take place in universities in 30 countries across 330 cities around Europe and the ADAPT Centre is delighted to showcase some of its cutting-edge research at the event. PROBE: Research Uncovered at Trinity College Dublin is part of European Researchers’ Night. This annual research festival aims to demonstrate the diverse world of academic research and showcase what Irish researchers do for society in interactive and engaging ways. The evening event will consist of music, film, food, talks, live experiments, and interactive workshops which explore the fascinating Irish research that is shaping the global future and solving some of society’s biggest problems.
ADAPT will showcase its research in digital content technologies with demonstrations of technologies such as an application that can crawl and analyse tweets to show how users’ interests change over time.
PROBE is a collaboration between Trinity College Dublin and Science Gallery Dublin. The event is free, open to all ages, and will take place in Trinity’s historic Front Square on the 28th of September from 5pm to 9pm.
